What Size Safety Eyes Should I Choose?

The best safety eye size depends on your yarn, hook, pattern and the look you’re going for.

As a general guide:

16mm–18mm: Great for smaller amigurumi and more subtle expressions.

20mm: A versatile middle ground for medium-sized plushies.

25mm: Perfect when you want big, expressive eyes - particularly with thicker chenille yarn.

30mm: Maximum personality. Ideal for large plushies, chunky yarn and characters where the eyes are part of the whole look.
